These systems will be tuned to a 9.5 mhz frequency instead of the regular 8.2
mhz frequency. The purpose of doing this is so that the system and the tags used
with it do not interfere with security systems that may be in the surrounding
area. This way if a rental video tape is carried into a neighboring store it
will not ring their security system. (Most video stores use a pass around system
and never deactivate the labels). * For
single doors the pillars are set at 3' width & will detect both hard tags
and disposable labels. For double doors a 3 pillar system can be
placed 3 feet apart each (6 foot coverage) that will detect both hard tags
and disposable antitheft labels. A 3 pillar system with
base-plate would cost
