This refurbished sturdy aluminum antenna with black plastic side covers is a workhorse of a machine.  It comes with all new electronics and an unprecedented 20-year parts warranty.  Tech support by phone is included for 5 years. (Most retailers upgrade their towers every 5 years).

This refurbished tower will pick up hard tags 3 feet to either side of it.  In the case of a single door the tower is located 18″ or more into the store and lined up with the door frame, generally on the handle side of the 3 ft entrance.  An optional baseplate can be purchased for an easy, no hole in the floor installation.

In the case of a double door that opens out, one tower can be used in the middle of the double door or for a more open look, one can be used on either side of the six foot entrance.

It is important to have clean electrical for the best tag pickup. The best solution is an outlet that is dedicated all the way back to the breaker box. If however you do not have that, you can use a line filter. That will work eighty percent of the time to replace a dedicated outlet. The line filters we carry are refurbished to keep your costs down. They protect your equipment from power surges, power lulls, and excess noise in the line that can cause false alarms.
