PS Some customers have asked me to put together a short video showing how to pin tags on and remove them eliminating the apparent "hole" that appears in the fabric. I will do this in April when I am back and have it posted to our site. The hole is not a hole only threads pulled to the side. A quick tug of the fabric in a diagonal way will pop those threads right back to where they go when de-tagging garments.

Spring Break Security Precautions:

If you are on the Southeastern coast or in a destination that spring breakers go, be aware that girls 13-17 are in the highest demographic for shoplifters. They are juveniles and know that a shoplifting offense will not go on their permanent record. Below are some precautions you may want to take on these highly targeted items.

Bikinis: Tag bikini tops with jewelry tags that loop around the straps, or use the lanyard to thread through the clasp (as long as you can still try it on ok). Eyeglass tags, pencil tags with a p clamp or our improved thicker lanyards is also a good option. Put disposable paper labels underneath the sanitary liner in the bikini bottoms.

Sunglasses: Use eyeglass tags, jewelry tags, pencil tags with lanyard over the nose piece or p clamps and pencil tags.

Denim: Double tag this hot item. Use a paper label up inside the pant leg or inside the 5th pocket as well as a hard tag. Remember to stay away from areas that the shoplifter may try to cut material around the tag. Some of our stores use ink tags on the back side of a hard tag as the pin to also defeat shoplifters who try to remove the tags in the fitting rooms.

Ink Tag Closeout

Just in a large lot of ink tags that we have sorted by style and have on special. Ask if you do not see they style you need as we may have it.

The Skyguard system consists of the white turbo antenna blocks at the sides and the top of this doorway. There are wires that go around the doorway and cut into the floor as well that are hidden with wire molding strips. This system is more expensive as it has to be professionally installed but a good solution for larger stores with aesthetics in mind.
