Tips to Stop False Alarms
Most common issues that cause false alarms are:
1. Tags too close to towers. Remove all tags 3 foot+ around towers.
2. Towers too close to door frame. Most towers must be a minimum of 18" into the store away from door frame. Exception is Wifi towers = 6".
3. Heavy metal racks, signs, tables, shoppingcarts etc., must be kept at least 3 foot from tower.
4. Vertical wires (even if not tower wires) must be 3 foot from towers. When plugging into a ceiling outlet, run wire from tower to wall then at least 3 feet to the side before stringing wire up the wall.
5. Power supply too close to tower. Extend wire on power box so that it is at least 3 foot from towers.
6. Electrical noise in outlet (not a dedicated line back to breaker). Tech support can sometimes tune around this issue, or for a small fee send a specialized line filter, saving you the cost of an electrician.
