CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS ARE ALREADY IN STORE WINDOWS AND CAUSING FALSE ALARMS

Decorations have come out earlier than ever this year. Rules to keep your decorations from making your towers false alarm.

• Do not plug them into the same breaker as your towers. This creates noise in the line which will trigger your system. Some stores have opted for cardboard trees with no lights.
• Do not place Christmas trees or lights within 3 ft of the towers. Even if not plugged in the wires in the lights and with wire in the tree will cause false alarms if too close to the tower.
• Fall brings cooler weather which can make your towers more sensitive. It is not unusual to tune them down a bit in fall and make them more sensitive in the summer.
• Call Mary in tech support if you are experiencing issues with your towers and need assistance adjusting them.

MOVIE TIME FOR THE STAFF

Sensortags has published on our website two new videos for the education of your employees. Bothe are only5 minutes or so long. One is how to install a tower which gives good info about proper placement and tips to keep from having false alarms. The other is a good review about how and why to tag your garments the correct way.. Lockinghooks.com IS BACK OPEN FOR ORDERS

Our website for locking hooks has been updated and can now be accessed for the small locks that hang on the end of peg hooks so thieves don't take a big handful of items and run. I notice that most stores with peg hook displays are now using these on their most expensive items to deter shoplifters.
